The goal of The Sydney Business Networking Group (SydeyBizNet) is to build a global small business community to introduce members to new business relationships in Sydney and New York City. To enhance global connectivity, we will provide the opportunity for members of both groups to cross promote their businesses to each other. This synergy will help you network yourself locally and internationally, explore new global business opportunities and encourage the formation of strategic partnerships with business owners on both sides of the globe.

What inspired you to launch The Sydney Business Networking Group

We opened the Sydney Business Group so members of our NYC Group and our Sydney Group could expand their contacts and network with each other. In this difficult economic time, it's important for business owners to expand out of their own areas and comfort zones and try and bring their businesses to other markets, both domestic and foreign.

What is The NYC Business Networking Group?

The NYC Business Networking Group is the parent company in NYC. The group has hosted over 100 networking events and is the premiere, business networking group in NYC. The group is proudly sponsored by American Express OPEN for Business for the 2nd year. Group members number over 4300 highly motivated and passionate Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs. The group hosts THE most effective upscale networking events, seminars and small business expos.

Why are both groups beneficial for Small Business Owners & Entrepreneurs?

Think of our groups as a small business incubator; to help you connect with new members, for members to give each other support and to brainstorm business ideas with other solo entrepreneurs in both cities. Since many small business owners work on their own it's really vital to connect with other like minded business professionals. We provide members with warm leads for their products and services. Making new connections at the events is a starting point for growing your business. Making sure you follow up with those new contacts is what helps you become successful so you achieve your goals.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We give members the opportunity to network locally in Sydney and NYC and globally with other business owners. We'll be launching our global events in November 2009 so members in both cities can network in the comfort of their home or office, while still make new leads and connections.
