Please give us a short summary of your website?

This is a great site for getting tips on how the business sale process works and for learning what helps Vendors get the best possible price.

The site also offers a free information booklet to people thinking about selling their business.~~

What inspired you to launch your own website?

The only information out there was aimed at very large complex transactions. This site aims to breakdown the myths about business sales and spell out the steps in very clear terms.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

2008

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It was the company name

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Its simple to understand with no finance jargon.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Eventually we want to add a blog so people can share their own experiences.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Early days yet we will have to see. I think it will take a few years to prove up but the early signs are great.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I saw some great animation on the AAMI website - we would love to copy something like that.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Oh yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Our developers are not interested in just helping us with the small tweaks - we always struggle to get their attention

What has been your biggest challenge?

Content, Content, Content.

It has to be simple and up to date - easier said than done.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Google drives the most traffic because we are one of the few businesses brokers in Brisbane

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Thought we would get a flood of enquiries - more of a trickle but its getting better.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Running for nearly 2 years - not sure how long we will keep it going
