We have over 400 items in over 30 catagories, from audio to clothes. Quality gifts and gadgets direct to your door, Perth Gadgets, the place to come for fun, exciting, unusual gadgets. Presents for brithdays, christmas and for everyone in the family

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I was unemployed and could not find work, I was fed up with recieving poor service and high prices, So I thought I could do better, so my family said then do it. I have been trading now for six months and we are building a good customer base, built on traditional values which are sadely lost in todays society, at perth gadgets the customers are no one,

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Our first website was Perth Gadgets, selling fun funky and unusual gifts for everyone

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Well we live in Perth Scotland UK and it seemed to be appropriate and we liked the sound of

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Our service and customer care is what really sets us apart, we are competitive in our prices, and we give regular discounts and loyalty points, as well as our stock being updated daily ensuring the latest stock and prices

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To build a regular customer base and serve them well, to build a business built on trust and good ethics, We aim to keep it as a source for income and eventualy look at employing people and possibly move on to the high street as well

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Our investment of time and money is a little unbalanced at present as we are re investing in the future of our customers, and being an on line business,it is more difficult to be seen so a lot of hard work is invested into ensuring our customers are happy and this is where our success comes from , with a happy customer base who keep coming back

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We would not change very much, as we would loss our vision, Our only real change would be to expand our range of goods and have highstreet stores around the country, giving employment to disabled people mainly

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

We would like to think we could keep up with demand,Perth Gadgets are in a good position to deal with large volumes of trade and would thrive on the challenges this would bring

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

The biggest headache was gettin found on google, sitting waiting on the first on line customers, we thought we were doing things wrong

What has been your biggest challenge?

Our biggest challenge to date has been working through the quagmire of on line advertising making mistakes and having to redo a lot of work because of silly mistake

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth from happy customers is one of our main methods of promotion, as well as google which has bee great help to us

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is a lot more time consuming than a full time job but the satidsfaction is better than I had expected

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

we have run Perth gadgets for 6 months now, we will keep it running as long as the customers are happy, Our aim is not to get big gains in income and traffic, Our aim is to be popular because we have earned it by giving our customers the very best in service and merchandise

How would you rectify any mistakes made by you

If we were aware of any mistakes on our part we would immediately contactt he customer and notify them of this and immediately correct any errors and give the customer a written appologie, and take all reasonable steps to prevent any repeat of any errors
