It's a country homes interior design site.~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? I love home design, and wanted an outlet for my creativity. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? Four years ago, and it was about dresses. How did you decide on a name for your website? I came up with Room Elegance after a lot of searching and thinking. I think that home styling should always by elegant. What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? It's simple to understand, and not cluttered, it's as stylish as its ideas. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) To keep it, so i can keep writing and have a place to put all my home decor ideas. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? It's pretty balanced. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? If it was unlimited, I would create my own house, and have a whole section about my own experiences, a blog and lots of pictures of vintage homeware shops! If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? I would try my best! What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? None really, except for decisions that are a bit too hasty...I always regret un-thought out decisions. What has been your biggest challenge? Completing all the writing. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Bloggers and other websites. How has running your website differed from your expectations? It has taken a lot more patience. How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
