Our site is a simple informative site regarding the services we offer, namely transcription, both Medical and General transcription.~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? Not so much as inspired but it is a 'requirement' in our business. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? Just recently, October 5, 2009 How did you decide on a name for your website? Our name is another way of advertising our services, Accutrix or Accurate Transcription. What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? Our site is more or less 'generic' as with most companies offering the same type of service, it's in the quality of the service that the difference comes in. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) Grow the company and be the local leader in the industry and be known for the quality of service we offer. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? We've just started the company although the people that make it up have been in the industry for quite a while now. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? I'd add some flash presentations and make it really hi-tech looking... If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Yes, we are after all an offshoot of an existing IT Solutions provider locally. What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? None as of yet...but getting there... What has been your biggest challenge? Marketing...really the biggest hurdle in a start-up company is landing that first 'major' client. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? everything's experimental right now, mostly web promotions, email campaigns... How has running your website differed from your expectations? I wouldn't really know, we have our IT personnel to handle that... How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
