It's an up to date website letting people know about what services we provide. It also has a photo album of work our company completed. There are contact info and a customer testamonial section as well.~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? To get the name Alpha Pro Apinting Company out there for people to see. I know the website well help in doing that. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? This is my first website and i launched it about a year ago. How did you decide on a name for your website? My brother came up with the name to our company and thats how we got our website name. What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? It's different in the fact that we are a small painting company and we explain really well why our customer service and prices are the best in town. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) I would like to be able to build to the website and grow. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? Just what i've done for free online advertising, i've made more money than i did through the phone book. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? I would definitely gear more towards the internet. If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Absolutely! I want my business to grow and if that means hiring more people to keep up, then thats what i'll do! What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? Just the headaches of dealing with the phone book advertisers and not getting a return on what i put into it. What has been your biggest challenge? Trying to figure out the internet and where to plug our companies name in. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Getting our name on the internet as much as i can. I paid $6000 for the phone book advertising last year and made more money from the free internet sites. How has running your website differed from your expectations? It's been a lot of fun trying to figure out what is working and what is not. I've learned a lot in a short amount of time. How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? I've run for about a year now and will continue to run it for as long as people are calling. What do you want to get out of your website?
