Mickeytopdog.com was designed to bring the technologies of myspace, Hulu, U-TUBE and webshots to one place. it is a fun place to get to know different people while watching your favorite shows,videos, or movies
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I am a creative person and this was a creative outlet for me

mickeytopdog.com is my first website
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Mickeytopdog has been my user name for several years and now even has its own character. which has become my logo for the website
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
What is different is the members we have a family friendly atmosphere and I work hard to keep that going.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My eventual goals is to add more of my own stuff to the site such as my movie and music video collection making the site better than others with similar offerings and eventually I will open up a dvd store on the site
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It is still early with only a few members but I am pleased with the site so far
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Not alot but I would not have to wait so long to develop what I have so far The premium package would be first so I could have unlimited pages to work with so that some of the pages that have alot of games or videos on them could be turned into index pages while the videos and games would each have a separate page of their own
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I believe so I enlist friends and family to help with the moderator stuff
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Everything is on a nickle and dime basis trying to save money to upgrade services and really get the site going is difficult
What has been your biggest challenge?
Saving the money for site upgrades and advertising
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
None really yet I network with friends and differant social aps I am apart of
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It is alot of work
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
About a month to create the opening version and about another months worth with members actually visiting the site
